BB

With all the buzz generated by the Blackberry crackling through our gadget-minded society, there are bound to be some cultural ramifications. One case in point is the acronymization of RIM’s gadget to two letters: BB. You see, here in Indonesia, BB is already notorious for being the acronym of “Bau Badan” or “Body Odour“. So, when the acronym is juxtaposed with certain words, it’s bound to conjure new meaning into a supposedly innocent sentence. Like my friend here. Basically, in Bahasa Indonesia, she’s saying, “My B.O. smells a bit funky today…”
